Universal Expandable Panel (Carbon PEEK)
$299.00
JDAir Parts is excited to bring the first commercially available molle panel mounting system to the aviation market. Designed for superior utility, we have created a fully modular setup allowing aircraft owners to stack, expand, combine and mount their system in any number of locations and configurations. With PEM nut straps and mounting brackets, you can connect large and small panels in hundreds of configurations. We also provide two types of panel mounting PEM stud plates for accessible or inaccessible locations depending on your project status. Let your imagination run wild. Your tools, for your adventures.
We are also very excited to push the market with two material types available.
Carbon Fiber PEEK
Your second material option pushes the industry farther and allows for an even lighter, yet incredibly durable, mounting option. Made from PEEK Carbon Fiber, this material reduces the panel weight by 63%, yet performs just as well, if not better, than the aluminum. The Carbon fiber/PEEK composite boasts an extraordinarily high melting point of 343° C, high strength (>140 MPa), very high chemical resistance, exceptional strength to weight ratios, high impact and wear resistance, stronger than equivalent injection molded parts, no warpage, shrinkage or sink marks, excellent flame retardance, and biocompatible.
We have rated each panel for 10lbs of gear per panel (when bracket mounted or using 4 standoff mounts). The anodized aluminum stand-off mounts provide superior access behind your panel to ensure easy mounting and removal to your gear and tools.
The panel mounting options are endless, with thousands of options available to meet your mounting needs. We are currently working on various mounting setup, check our "Panel Attachments" page often for new releases and options.
WARNING: THESE PANELS ARE NOT RATED FOR CARRYING LOADS DURING AEROBATIC MANEUVERS. PANELS HAVE BEEN TESTED TO PERFORM UNDER MAX LOAD (10LB) FOR UP TO +/-6 Gs BUT ALL ATTACHED ITEMS SHOULD BE REMOVED PRIOR TO AEROBATIC ACTIVITIES. PANELS MAY STAY ATTACHED. PILOT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MOUNTING AND LOCATIONS OF PANEL PLACEMENT, ENSURING CLEARANCE OF ALL CONTROL SURFACES TO ENSURE PROPER AIRCRAFT FUNCTION.
